Louise Hull DO

Osteopath

Louise trained at the British School of Osteopathy between 1987-91 and began her career working at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London and in Tunbridge Wells with Stuart Korth’s private practice.
 
Louise started a practice in Melksham in 1993 with her husband Caspar continuing her work with children and expectant mothers using mostly gentle techniques, such as cranial osteopathy in treating her patients.

She has been working alongside the team at Stepping stones opportunity group for children with special needs for many years.

Louise currently teaches for the Sutherland Cranial College on their osteopathic postgraduate courses.

 

 

 

Caspar Hull DO

Osteopath

Qualified in 1990 from the British School of Osteopathy and has practiced initially in London and in Melksham since 1993.

Married to Louise, with four lovely children.

He has worked in the sporting fields of US football, Equestrienne, Wiltshire School of Gymnasts and also Salisbury City Football Club.

He is an associate of the Ergonomics Society, conducting health and safety assessments of work stations and  treating the problems caused by their short-comings, and advises on changing  working patterns.

 

 

 Caspar uses all techniques, depending on the patient’s requirements; cranial osteopathy for all including babies, structural for mechanical breakdowns, visceral for gastro-intestinal upsets, eg. irritable bowel syndrome.

He is a committee member of the Cri du Chat syndrome support group and chair of the research sub-committee, through which he has gained membership to the Genetics Interest Group now the Genetic Alliance UK [GAUK] and the Medicines for Children's Research Network, for which he is a consumer member of the General Paediatrics Clinical Studies Group.

He also is and external examiner for osteopathic/university courses and moderates in Final Clinical Competence Assessments for the awards of osteopathic degrees.

‘My aim has been to provide a rounded management taking into consideration birth, work, family and life style to try and change the way the patient perceives their disease and thus reduce the chances of re-injury’.

 

Mary Bolingbroke Bsc.(Hons)Ost.

Osteopath

 Mary trained at the British School of Osteopathy between 1988 and 1992 alongside Caspar and Louise, and as a post graduate continued training to specialise in cranial work.

From 1995 Mary worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, treating babies and expectant mothers and began to gain valuable experience in caring for patients with more serious illness and disability. At the same time Mary taught at the British School of Osteopathy and set up a multi-disciplinary clinic.

In 1999 Mary moved to Devon to work in a hospice providing osteopathic palliative care and also worked for Sure Start looking after pre-school children.

Mary has now moved back to Wiltshire enticed by the opportunity of continuing her professional relationship with Caspar and Louise.

 

Angela Stevenson D.O.

Osteopath

 Angela Stevenson

Angela graduated in 1983 from the British School of Osteopathy. She initially gained experience as a clinic tutor and assistant technique tutor at the BSO as well as associate work in Yorkshire. She developed her own practice in Scarborough, Yorkshire seeing a wide variety of conditions within the local farming community and the elderly.


Upon marriage she relocated to Saudi Arabia,treating ex-pats and locals. After 11 years, she moved back to the UK to Gloucestershire where she established a practice within a GP clinic. Soon, however  she was on the move again, this time to Dubai where she worked for 7 years. Upon returning to England she has settled in Bath and is pleased to have joined the team at the Lowbourne practice in Melksham.

Angela uses both traditional and cranial techniques tailoring her treatment to the individual as needed. She enjoys the challenge of helping those with complex problems who have not found relief from other treatments.
