What to expect after treatment

Some patients feel an immediate relief after treatment which is usually partial but may be total depending on the individual. Some patients feel a little sore after treatment. This too is normal and is simply your body's reaction to the osteopathic treatment. This soreness usually wears off after 24 to 48 hours. You may have been cautioned that an after treatment reaction might occur by your osteopath and  he or she may have suggested measures to help. Your response will depend on your condition, length of time you have had symptoms, general health, stress levels etc.
